Requirements
  • Experience with underwriting cyber insurance and technology errors and omissions insurance products.
  • A bachelor's degree and at least six years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Self-direction and strong organizational skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, email, and internet-based technology.
  • Solid verbal and written communication and mathematics skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to abide by departmental policies and procedures, including authority levels, to comply with Crum & Forster's risk-management controls.
Responsibilities
  • Work with assigned brokers to market eRisk insurance products.
  • Achieve underwriting production, profitability, and other financial targets for assigned brokers.
  • Assist team leadership in developing and enhancing new and existing products.
  • Communicate concerns of key brokers and market opportunities to management.
  • Ensure policy transactions are rated, booked, invoiced, and issued accurately and meet corporate service-time standards, including quotes, new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
  • Communicate with Accounting, Marketing, and other departments as needed to answer policy questions and resolve issues.
  • Generate insurance quote letters and binder letters for cyber, technology errors and omissions, and related products according to underwriter instructions.
  • Prepare and issue policies for the eRisk department.
  • Manage and service in-force accounts.
  • Acquire knowledge and skills proactively.
  • Work with system support to test releases when verifying successful programming requires a review of the production environment.
  • Assist in quality verification of policy transactions, processes, and procedures.
  • Electronically print documents into the imaging system, page-mark them, and label them according to corporate protocols.
  • Communicate with producers as needed to obtain information required to complete transactions and answer questions about policy status and insurance inquiries.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
Desired Qualifications
  • Established cyber broker or agent relationships in the Southeast United States.
