Process Street has launched 105 new API endpoints, transforming its compliance operations platform into a headless system that can be controlled entirely by AI agents. Each endpoint is mirrored as a tool on the company's Model Context Protocol server at mcp.process.st. The endpoints cover workflow authoring, pages, data sets, scheduled workflows, attachments, and permissions. AI agents can now build workflows, create compliance reviews, assign tasks, and set permissions without human interaction through the interface. The platform works with Claude, ChatGPT Pro and higher tiers, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and any application supporting the Model Context Protocol. Access follows existing user permissions, with admins, builders, and users only able to interact with resources their Process Street permissions allow. The endpoints are available to all Process Street customers across all plans. The company serves more than 3,000 companies and maintains ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certification.
Process Street launches MCP server, giving AI assistants direct access to compliance workflows. September 07, 2026, 08:28 GMT Hosted server connects Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot Studio to live workflows, tasks and data sets. Available on all plans. The gap between AI works and AI works here is not model quality. It is operational context." - Vinay Patankar, CEO and co-founder, Process Street SAN FRANCISCO, CA, UNITED STATES, September 7, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ - Process Street, the compliance operations platform trusted by more than 3,000 companies, has launched a hosted Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that allows AI assistants and other applications to access workflows, workflow runs, tasks, users and data sets from outside the Process Street platform. The server is live at mcp.process.st and is available on all Process Street plans. Model Context Protocol is the emerging open standard for connecting AI assistants to external systems. Until now, a team that wanted an AI assistant to act on its documented procedures had to build and maintain a custom integration against the Process Street API. The MCP server removes that work. It supports most Process Street API endpoints as tools, so an assistant can create and manage workflow runs, assign tasks, search data sets, generate reports and summaries, and analyze operational data through ordinary conversation. The practical effect is that compliance work becomes reachable from the place people already work. Process Street's own documentation gives three examples of what a connected assistant can be asked to do: create a new run of a Quarterly Access Review workflow and assign it to the compliance manager if it has not already been assigned; find the most recent Client Onboarding workflow runs and identify bottlenecks from incomplete tasks; and search data set records for active vendors and mark those not reviewed in the past six months for review. "Every company is trying to point an agent at its own operations, and finding the agent has no idea how the place actually runs," said Vinay Patankar, CEO and co-founder of Process Street. "The gap between AI works and AI works here is not model quality. It is operational context. Our customers already wrote their processes down. This makes that context reachable from the assistant, under the permissions the person already has, so nothing gets loosened to let an agent in." The server works with Claude, ChatGPT on Pro, Team, Business, Enterprise and Edu plans, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and any application that supports the Model Context Protocol. One-click connectors are available for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot Studio. Other clients can connect to the remote server using a Process Street API key with bearer token authentication. Access follows the permissions customers already have. Admins, Builders and Users can use the MCP server, and each can only interact with the resources their Process Street permissions allow. No new permission model is introduced and no data is moved out of the platform to make it available. Organizations with SAML SSO enabled are not supported at this time. The launch reflects a broader shift in how operational software is consumed. As teams route more day-to-day work through AI assistants, the systems that hold a company's procedures and audit trails need to be legible to those assistants without weakening the controls around them. An MCP server that inherits existing permissions is how Process Street is meeting that requirement. Process Street maintains ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certification and is HIPAA and GDPR compliant. Documentation for the MCP server, including connection instructions for each supported client, is available at https://www.process.st/help/docs/mcp-server/ About Process Street Process Street is a compliance operations platform that turns policies and procedures into automated, auditable workflows.
