Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of applicable Swap Dealer and Security-Based Swap Dealer laws, rules, and regulations, with the ability to assess firm impact.
  • Firm understanding of business operations, procedures, and documented practices associated with Swap Dealer and Security-Based Swap Dealer activities.
  • Typically, a minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience including a post-secondary degree.

Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation, maintenance, and administration of the Swap Dealer and Security-Based Swap Dealer compliance program.
  • Coordinate and perform risk assessment, monitoring, testing, and surveillance activities to ensure the program remains aligned with the Compliance Program.
  • Partner with business lines and internal groups to meet regulatory, corporate, and fiduciary obligations.
  • Advise on new regulatory developments and internal products, and revise policies and controls.
  • Identify risks and mitigate them.
  • Develop and maintain compliance information for analysis and reporting.
  • Provide oversight and recommendations that enhance compliance monitoring, reduce risk, and align with regulatory rules.
  • Provide advice and guidance to business lines on implementing solutions aligned to regulatory risk appetite and business needs.
  • Consult on new products, services, and automated systems to ensure compliance requirements are incorporated.
  • Ensure effective compliance controls that support business objectives and identify enhancements to tools and processes.
  • Monitor emerging risks, issues, and regulatory developments, providing insights to inform decision-making.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and regulators.
  • Conduct and challenge risk assessments and perform or oversee monitoring and testing to ensure controls are effective and aligned with requirements.
  • Ascertain or develop training based on identified gaps.
  • Identify, assess, and oversee resolution of compliance issues, including root cause analysis, remediation plans, validation, and escalation of material concerns.
  • Analyze and report compliance data and risk insights to management.
  • Maintain expertise in applicable regulations and provide interpretive guidance to the business.
  • Advise the first line of defense on compliance matters and reinforce the three lines of defense framework.
  • Represent the Compliance team and interact with examiners and auditors during internal, external, and regulatory audits and examinations.
  • Operate independently to assess risk, solve problems, and manage non-routine situations in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.

Aug 10, 2026, 18:00 ET TORONTO, Aug. 10, 2026 /CNW/ - BMO Financial Group (TSX: BMO) (NYSE: BMO) announced today that together with Royal Bank of Canada, it has entered into an agreement for the sale of jointly-owned Moneris Solutions Corporation, a leader in Canadian commerce solutions, to Francisco Partners, a leading technology investment firm, for cash consideration of approximately $2.0 billion, of which BMO's share is 50%. Concurrent with the closing of the transaction, BMO and RBC will enter into new exclusive, long-term referral arrangements with Moneris. Radiant Logistics secures $200M revolving credit facility with improved terms and 2031 maturity

Radiant Logistics has completed an amended and restated $200 million secured revolving credit facility, refinancing its existing facility that was due to mature in August 2027. The new facility extends the maturity to 2031 and features improved terms, including lower interest rates and an expanded accordion feature increased from $75 million to $100 million. Vireo Growth secures $65M credit facility, expandable to $105M

Vireo Growth Inc., a vertically integrated cannabis company, announced a $65 million senior secured asset-based revolving credit facility through certain indirect non-cannabis subsidiaries. The facility can expand to $85 million and further to $105 million via a $20 million accordion feature. Bank of Montreal leads the five-year facility as administrative agent, with BMO Capital Markets as arranger and bookrunner. Borrowings carry interest at Term SOFR plus 1.75% to 2%, or base rate plus 0.75% to 1%, depending on average availability. The company will use proceeds to refinance existing debt, fund working capital and capital expenditures, and finance permitted acquisitions. The facility is secured by substantially all assets of participating non-cannabis subsidiaries.

Charles River Associates expands credit facility to $400M with six-bank syndicate

Charles River Associates has expanded its credit facility to $400 million through a six-bank lending syndicate. The five-year agreement includes a $75 million term loan and a $325 million revolving credit facility, replacing a previous $300 million facility set to mature in August 2027. The revolving facility can be reduced to $250 million between 16 July and 15 January each year when working-capital requirements are lower. CRA will use proceeds to repay outstanding borrowings, support working capital, fund growth investments, and cover general corporate purposes. The lending group includes Bank of America, Citizens Financial Group, Eastern Bank, and Beacon Bank & Trust, with BMO and M&T Bank joining as new lenders. The expanded facility provides additional liquidity as the consulting firm invests in its global economic, financial, and management advisory operations.

High Tide closes $29M credit facilities with BMO to cut costs and boost flexibility

High Tide Inc. has closed C$40 million in senior secured credit facilities with Bank of Montreal, increasing financial flexibility and lowering capital costs. The facilities comprise a C$25 million revolving credit facility with a three-year term and a C$15 million delayed-draw term loan. The company used C$6 million from the revolving facility to repay its existing loan with ConnectFirst Credit Union. The remaining funds will support working capital, acquisitions, and investments. The delayed-draw term loan is intended to refinance High Tide's existing C$15 million second-lien debentures. High Tide operates Canna Cabana, Canada's largest cannabis retail chain with 229 domestic locations and one international store. The facilities are secured by substantially all company assets and subject to customary covenants.
