- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout
- Hands-on experience with older avionics systems, components, or military/aerospace electronics
- Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, Mentor Graphics)
- Strong knowledge of analog/digital circuit design and component-level troubleshooting
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
- Design, develop, and update electrical circuits, schematics, and PCB layouts
- Perform reverse engineering and redesign for obsolete or discontinued avionics components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet aerospace industry standards
- Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of circuit boards and electronic systems
- Prepare technical documentation including design reports, test procedures, and compliance records
- Support sustaining engineering activities to extend the lifecycle of existing avionics products
- Familiarity with DO-160, MIL-STD, or other aerospace standards a plus
