Requirements
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Proven track record of customer facing professional services delivery or consulting
  • Location: Paris / UK (with no restriction to travel in Europe, Middle East and Africa)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% once travel restrictions are lifted
  • Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
  • Additional European language is a plus
  • Strong understanding of Linux operating system architecture with at least five years of experience operating Linux platforms
  • Hands-on UNIX/Linux system administration skills and experience in managing large scale distributed environments (minimum five years)

  • Knowledge of High Availability environments (distributed systems, load balancing, cloud platforms) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of Web Servers, Backups, Email, Package Management, Monitoring in a large scale production environment
  • Scripting skills (Python, Perl, Shell), Automation (SaltStack, Ansible)

Responsibilities
  • Design, build and delivery of Scality product or third-party components for customers
  • Assist sales team throughout the customer selection process including design of solutions, running technology showcases or proofs of concept at customer sites, and providing consulting where appropriate
  • Provide integration, consulting, training, and post-sales professional services and support during the delivery process to customers
  • Coordinate customer and internal interactions for specific accounts where extended services are provided in addition to standard support
  • Provide intake (sales) and handover (support) of delivery projects
  • Travel to customer sites as required by project needs and governmental restrictions

The Artesca Cyber Guarantee is simple: $100,000, with straightforward eligibility. It applies to every Artesca customer as long as they keep Artesca up-to-date and protect data using Object Lock in compliance mode. This announcement follows the latest Artesca 4.1 release, which introduced new cyber-resilience enhancements designed to strengthen secure deployments and protect backup data vs. ransomware and other destructive attacks. A cyber-guarantee program for everyone In an era where ransomware has become a business-disrupting certainty, organizations are increasingly relying on immutable backup storage as their last line of defense.
