You will have an impact by

• Building, configuring and deploying scalable test automation solutions while maintaining high quality assurance standards
• Developing test plans, strategies, and methodologies
• Identifying, reporting, and tracking software defects
• Working closely with other developers to deliver quality software to Meter customers
• Communicating on test strategy and technical subjects related to test automation
• Mentoring team members by reviewing test plans and automation scripts
• Promoting automation across teams while expanding ownership of quality

You might be a good fit if you have

• Strong experience with Python scripting
• Strong experience with test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework, Selenium, or Pytest
• Experience with Test Driven Development and Agile processes
• Knowledge of cloud services such as REST APIs, databases etc.
• Experience with tools such as GitHub, Docker, and JIRA
• A passion for software quality and test automation
• Experience working in a globally distributed team environment

Bonus points for

• Experience with network simulators or wifi traffic generators
• Experience with packet capture & analysis tools, like Wireshark and tcpdump
• Experience with open-source RPA platforms, like Robocorp

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows

• $91,000 - $198,000
• Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Meter’s equity plan.

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the Bay Area. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors such as your skills, qualifications and experience.
