Requirements
  • Three to five years of administrative and data entry experience.
  • Two to four years of Medicaid knowledge.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the revenue cycle, including invoicing, premium collections, and process-improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and develop strategies to improve collections.
  • Ensure adherence to new processes and workflows.
  • Evaluate the efficiency of revenue cycle procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory laws and policies.
  • Work with team members to identify and remove roadblocks, streamline processes, and maximize collection efficiency.
  • Update records based on reports and mail, including offset trackers, deceased reports, faxes, and mail.
  • Reduce delinquency on assigned accounts.
  • Create, update, and track customers with unpaid bills, then forward collection letters.
  • Use sound judgment to escalate collection issues when necessary.
  • Support and comply with all components of the compliance program, including completing training and reporting suspected violations of law or company policy.
  • Supervise and develop the revenue cycle team by setting goals, motivating employees, and fostering a positive, inclusive team culture.
  • Lead process improvements involving department procedures, systems, and training initiatives, including coaching, training, and evaluating team performance.
  • Serve as a point of contact for account escalations and team concerns.
  • Lead interviews and assist with department recruitment.
  • Adhere to federal and state laws governing debt collection procedures and regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information and comply with HIPAA and protected health information guidelines.
  • Maintain a reliable, nonpublic, high-speed internet connection with sufficient bandwidth for all work-related activities and report service interruptions promptly.

  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required; qualified experience may substitute.
