Requirements
  • A proven B2B prospector. You have 1+ years of experience recommended in a B2B sales role — you understand the outbound motion, you're comfortable with cold outreach and rejection, and you know how to earn a conversation.
  • A strong communicator who earns credibility fast. You can engage effectively with sophisticated prospects — including lawyers, CCOs, and fund partners — and articulate why Carta Law is worth their time, clearly and confidently.
  • Organized and self-directed. You manage your own pipeline, prioritize effectively across competing demands, and don't need to be chased to follow up — you're already ahead of it.
  • CRM and tools fluent. You have a working understanding of CRM systems and sales tracking tools, and you treat data hygiene as a professional standard, not an afterthought.
  • Flexible and growth-oriented. You adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment, collaborate well across functions — including with C-suite and lead lawyers — and you're motivated by the path this role opens up, not just the role itself.
  • Must be able to work Eastern Time hours (9am–6pm ET), Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
  • Fill the top of the funnel. Own outbound prospecting through LinkedIn, cold calling, and digital outreach — identifying the right targets, sparking the right conversations, and booking qualified meetings for the Sales Directors.
  • Build a pipeline the team can close from. Collaborate with Sales Directors and fellow SDRs to develop sharp, well-researched prospect target lists that translate into real commercial opportunities.
  • Keep the CRM clean and current. Maintain accurate records of all sales activity and client interactions so the team always has a clear, reliable view of pipeline and progress.
  • Arm the team with the right materials. Assist in preparing sales collateral and presentations that give Carta Law's value proposition the clarity and credibility it deserves in front of sophisticated legal and fund clients.
  • Stay ahead of the market. Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments so your outreach is timely, relevant, and positioned to land.

Carta provides a fintech platform that streamlines fundraising for startups, venture capitalists, and private equity firms, while also managing equity and portfolio data. The platform combines asset management, back-office automation, valuations, fund formation, and audit and tax support into one system. It uses machine-learning driven data and real-time market intelligence to support compensation decisions and makes equity sales for employees and stakeholders easier. Revenue comes from charging clients for access to its tools and services, with pricing varying by client size and service level; the goal is to make fundraising faster, easier, and more cost-effective by offering an integrated suite of fundraising workflow, equity management, and data insights.

Carta launches Claude plugins for private capital ops, saving firms weeks of manual work

Carta has made its suite of Plugins for Claude broadly available, with over 1,500 companies and firms already using them since the initial launch in April 2026. The plugins integrate fund administration, cap table management, and dealflow analytics directly into existing workflows. The platform includes three main plugins. The Investors Plugin enables fund CFOs to pull live cash data and generate reports. The CRM Plugin connects relationship management to economic data for investor outreach. The Cap Table Plugin allows equity administrators to access ownership records and generate reports. Delta-v Capital, managing $1.6 billion across 28 funds, reduced compliance work from weeks to near-instant workflows. Tribe Capital Management, overseeing $2 billion in assets under management, cut reconciliation time from one week to one day across 100 SPVs. The plugins operate within Carta's existing permission structure and are available through Claude's plugin directory to firms with active Carta accounts.

The expansion targets Hong Kong's $240 billion private markets sector, creating an infrastructure corridor across the region's key capital centres. The Hong Kong office launches with teams covering sales, marketing, customer experience and fund administration, offering services in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. Whilst Singapore anchors Carta's Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa operations, the Hong Kong hub provides localised expertise across the Greater Bay Area. Carta launches Fund of Funds solution with AI automation for LP reporting and portfolio analytics

Carta has launched a Fund of Funds solution to automate LP reporting and portfolio management for fund managers. The platform consolidates fund administration, portfolio analytics and document management into a single system, addressing operational challenges in a sector projected to reach $450 billion by 2033. The solution uses proprietary agentic AI to extract and normalise data from capital call notices and other documents, automatically updating general ledgers and eliminating manual entry. It provides portfolio look-through analysis across multiple funds, tracks capital activity from a centralised hub, and maps entity relationships with visual accounting capabilities. The platform aggregates data across managers' entire portfolios, including funds not administered on Carta. Carta plans to introduce cash forecasting and treasury management tools in coming months.
