Requirements
  • At least 5 years of consulting experience or equivalent experience in operating model design, organization design, change management, marketing operations, process transformation, or enterprise or functional transformation.
  • At least 3 years of experience across several areas including transformational change management, operating model design, organization design, organization analytics, talent or workforce analytics, strategic workforce planning, marketing operations, or enterprise transformations.
  • Experience supporting or co-creating operating models, governance models, process changes, or organization structure changes with senior client stakeholders.
  • Experience developing change strategies, change impact assessments, stakeholder maps, communications, training, adoption plans, or sustainment mechanisms.
  • Experience using data, analytics, workflow inputs, capacity planning, or artificial-intelligence-enabled tools to analyze organization, workforce, process, or marketing operating data and inform design decisions.
  • Strong facilitation, analytical problem solving, storytelling, visual structuring, written communication, and client-ready presentation skills.
  • A university degree is required for this position.
  • English is required because the role regularly interacts with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada.
Responsibilities
  • Assess current marketing operating models, organization structures, governance forums, decision rights, roles, workflows, handoffs, tools, agency interactions, change readiness, and pain points.
  • Use interviews, workshops, process mapping, organization analytics, activity analysis, and capacity inputs to surface insights and shape future-state recommendations.
  • Co-create operating model options with marketing, commercial, technology, analytics, legal, procurement, agency, and business stakeholders; test options against design criteria and implementation feasibility.
  • Design governance models, RACI models, role charters, interaction models, ways of working, and process changes across planning, briefing, content, creative, media, approvals, measurement, and optimization.
  • Develop change impact assessments, stakeholder maps, readiness assessments, communications, training materials, adoption plans, and sustainment mechanisms to support implementation.
  • Model resource, skill, and capability implications using capacity planning, time distribution, activity analysis, workflow data, or organization design tools where relevant.
  • Build implementation roadmaps, pilot plans, change activation plans, and adoption metrics that help clients implement new structures, governance, and ways of working.
  • Contribute to client presentations, proposal materials, Statements of Work, practice assets, playbooks, and reusable operating model and change management templates.
  • Work directly with marketing operations leaders, transformation sponsors, functional partners, and cross-functional client teams while supporting senior leads in CMO-level conversations.
  • Facilitate or co-facilitate stakeholder interviews, design workshops, playback sessions, and change readiness discussions.
  • Translate stakeholder pain points and competing priorities into practical design options, decision packs, requirements, and implementation steps.
  • Anticipate adoption barriers, align leadership groups, and help teams understand what will change and why.
  • Support defined operating model, process, or change workstreams from discovery through design, validation, and activation planning.
  • Manage and coach analysts or junior team members on interview synthesis, process mapping, stakeholder analysis, change impact assessment, and client-ready deliverables.
  • Support practice leads to ensure recommendations are implementable and measurable.
  • Support business development and practice development through proposal inputs, Statement of Work content, reusable assets, community building, recruiting, and thought leadership.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in operating model design, design thinking, human-centered design, employee experience, culture change, or agile organization development.
  • Experience with marketing operations, content supply chain, creative operations, service design, agency operating models, or enterprise workflow transformation.
  • Familiarity with platforms or tools such as Adobe Workfront, Monday.com, AEM, DAM, CRM, CDP, marketing automation, analytics, Power BI, OrgVue, or AI-enabled workflow solutions.
  • Certification or hands-on experience with change management methods, Lean, Six Sigma, service blueprinting, agile methods, or design thinking.
  • Experience in regulated or matrixed organizations where governance, compliance, stakeholder alignment, and change adoption are critical.

Accenture shares down 27%, but 11.5% yield available through put options at 35% discount

Accenture trades 37% below its 52-week high after falling 27% over the past year. In fiscal Q3 2026, new bookings declined and some managed services deals slipped into fiscal 2027. The company generated $73.1 billion in revenue over the past twelve months, with operating margins widening to 17% in Q3. Managed services revenue grew 5% in local currency. In the first nine months of fiscal 2026, clients made 104 quarterly bookings exceeding $100 million, up 13% year-on-year. Consulting revenue grew just 1% in local currency in Q3. Management attributes the slowdown to the Middle East conflict affecting regional and discretionary spending. The CEO acknowledged that client budgets have not been growing, with spending simply being redirected rather than increased.

Accenture appoints Emma Chalwin as chief marketing officer

Accenture has appointed Emma Chalwin as Chief Marketing Officer, effective 1 October 2026. She will oversee global marketing and communications, reporting to Chair and CEO Julie Sweet. Chalwin joins from Workday, where she served as CMO. Accenture drops LearnVantage focus, shifts $9B to cybersecurity and mid-market expansion

Accenture is shifting its growth strategy, de-emphasising LearnVantage, a learning and training business it built and promoted heavily in 2024. The company is acquiring a majority stake in an operational technology security specialist, alongside two smaller firms, combining them into a platform for critical infrastructure. Accenture's acquisition budget for fiscal 2026 is approximately $9 billion against $73.1 billion in trailing twelve-month revenue.
