Rumble is seeking a Senior Network Engineer who will be responsible for deploying, managing and automating network infrastructure that is at the core of the Rumble platform. A successful candidate for this position will be an experienced network engineer who is excited about the opportunity of building and supporting a fast growing, fault tolerant and high capacity network.

Job Description:

The Senior Network Engineer who takes this role will be responsible for the day to day implementation and support of the Rumble network within both production data centers and the corporate network, including:

Implementing and supporting network solutions
Documenting designs and exchanging ideas with other members of the team
Regularly presenting ideas and designs for network expansion and resilience
Assist with ongoing deployments and network upgrades
Participate in an on-call rotation, responding to and resolving incidents while communicating network status to other members of the team
Occasional travel to sites for implementations or changes

Required Qualifications:

Three to five years of relevant network experience
A strong understanding of IPv4 and familiarity with IPv6
Experience with routing and switching protocols (BGP, STP)
Solid experience with linux systems and managing them in a production environment
Ability to create and maintain high quality network documentation
Excellent troubleshooting skills, a creative and methodical thinker who can work within a team of professionals
Effective communicator (both verbal and written) who can clearly present information or ideas
Willingness to learn, be challenged and have fun in a dynamic and fast paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with network automation tools, Ansible experience a plus
Experience with multiple network operating systems (Juniper, Arista, Cisco)
Scripting experience with python or equivalent language
Experience implementing and supporting wireless networks in corporate environments

Desired Qualifications:

Past experience with network monitoring tools
Comfortable with using open source tools for solutions

Remote: Eastern Time Zone only, also willing and able to travel 10-25% of the time (mostly domestic)
