Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or an information technology-related field and seven years of experience.
  • Seven years of combined DevSecOps or MLOps development experience.
  • Five years of hands-on experience building, securing, and maintaining cloud environments.
  • Verifiable project experience establishing and managing continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines on at least two projects using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
  • Expertise implementing and managing containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native security tools, including Web Application Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, and Security Information and Event Management solutions.
  • Verifiable experience analyzing and parsing security data from Security Information and Event Management systems, audit logs, and other security data sources to identify and mitigate threats.
  • A Secret clearance is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive technical infrastructure support for all systems supporting the data and analytics environment.
  • Design, deploy, and operate data and applications in a cloud environment authorized at the FedRAMP High baseline and Department of Defense Impact Level 5, and maintain the system's Authority to Operate through configuration management, security patching, system monitoring, and help desk support.
  • Design architecture for scalability to accommodate future growth in data volume and user load.
  • Implement and sustain secure data access mechanisms, including application programming interfaces and user interfaces for data exploration, as well as a secure bulk data download capability for authorized users.
  • Manage all access mechanisms under a formal data governance framework, including metadata management and data cataloging.
  • Develop and deploy machine learning and artificial intelligence models, including natural language processing for unstructured text analysis, and integrate artificial intelligence and machine learning platforms such as AWS SageMaker and Azure Machine Learning.
  • Automate infrastructure and workflows using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Build and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines for secure software deployment.
  • Develop streaming data pipelines using Apache Kafka or AWS Kinesis for real-time data processing.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience building and maintaining cloud environments in AWS GovCloud or Azure Government.
