What You’ll Do
As a Sr Program Specialist for Talent & Development your primary focus will be to further enable the Talent Development & Engagement team to effectively execute against its aggressive agenda. This role supports the team with the implementation, project management, and administration of various learning programs and processes. This position requires expertise in problem solving, navigating the organization, and providing project coordination and general administrative support to the Talent Development & Engagement team.
Location: This is a Hybrid role, working onsite at our San Jose headquarters at least 3 days per week with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time

Reports to: Talent & Development Program Manager
Program Management:
- Work collaboratively with the TD&E team to provide project management and program coordination. Sample programs include: New Hire Onboarding, Manager Development, and DEI programs
- Facilitate key Talent Development programs, including New Hire Orientation
- Prioritizes and manages multiple tasks, special projects, program timelines and budgets
- Manage and conduct analysis on Talent Development programs: attendance (and tracking through the LMS), learning hours completed across DSA & SSIC, feedback on learning programs including trend analysis
- Support the design and creation of e-Learning programs
- Supports the creation of content for various TD&E initiatives, as directed
- Serve as the in-house expert in the LMS system, reporting and analytics
- Audit current process and propose new solutions that minimize manual tasks
- Support the development and execution of company-wide DE&I training programs, events, and activities
- Research and prepare DE&I trends, innovation, best practices, and emerging issues and solutions
- Manage the planning and execution of the annual Samsung Culture Index employee engagement survey (data aggregation, communications, marketing, reporting)
- Manage the planning and execution of the annual performance management cycle (communications, e-Learning development, reporting)
- Help foster team dynamics and team building with DiSC workshops
Training Administration:
- Supports the administrative needs of the function through coordination of on-site class schedules, vendor management and external class attendance for participants from various departments
- Arranges logistics for training sessions, including room reservations, set up, ordering of food, name tags, sign in sheets, and carries out any other necessary task to ensure successful learning events
- Work with vendors and cross-functional departments to process all invoices and legal documents
- Owns the management of creating, editing, and launching compliance training modules; track adherence and drive for 100% completion
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
What You Bring

- At least 1-3 years successful experience in training and development, organizational development or related field
- Confidence in using technology or digital platforms to solve problems is a must, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Experience administering a learning management system (LMS) preferred
- Applicants are expected to have excellent written and oral communication skills, and experience successfully balancing multiple tasks
- Passion for learning, increasing employee capability and achieving business results through people development
- Strong strategic and systems thinking - able to help others make connections and see the big picture
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes through leveraging automation and technology
- College degree in business or learning related field or the equivalent experience in progressively challenging learning and development positions

Within the base pay range, individual rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education and training. This is part of our comprehensive compensation package with annual bonus eligibility and generous benefits to help you live life well
Base Pay Range
$68,550—$154,440 USD
