Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or a related Engineering discipline is required.
  • At least 10 years of experience in quality systems, plant quality, customer quality, or manufacturing quality roles is required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Advanced Product Quality Planning, including Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Control Plans, and Production Part Approval Process readiness.
  • Experience supporting new product launches and manufacturing or process transitions.
  • Strong root cause analysis, corrective action, and continuous improvement capability.
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma experience is required, with a Green Belt required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, manage, and maintain Drinking Water Business Unit quality systems in alignment with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and Zurn Elkay Business System principles.
  • Lead and influence plant quality leadership across Drinking Water manufacturing sites to ensure consistent execution of inspections, containment, corrective actions, and quality metrics.
  • Serve as the advocate and voice of quality across the Drinking Water Business Unit by promoting prevention, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive reductions in warranty, returns, customer complaints, and Cost of Poor Quality through data-driven analysis and systemic corrective actions.
  • Ensure robust inbound, in-process, and outbound quality controls to prevent escapes and resolve issues to their effective root causes.
  • Lead and support Advanced Product Quality Planning execution for new products and process changes, including Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Control Plans, and Production Part Approval Process readiness.
  • Partner with Product Engineering and Operations to ensure quality readiness and risk mitigation before product and process release.
  • Collaborate with Supplier Quality on supplier-related quality issues and improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as the business point of contact for quality-system execution and support audit readiness and regulatory compliance across Drinking Water sites.
  • Establish and maintain quality review forums, performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting cadence.
  • Use quality data, warranty trends, and customer feedback to drive analytics, root-cause identification, and preventive actions.
  • Promote and sustain structured problem-solving, continuous improvement, and lessons learned across Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in high-mix manufacturing, assembly operations, or regulated products is preferred.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred.

Zurn Elkay posts Q2 revenue of $491M, beating estimates by 1.6%

Zurn Elkay reported better-than-expected second-quarter results for 2026, with revenue rising 10.5% year on year to $491 million, surpassing analyst estimates of $483.3 million. The water management solutions company posted adjusted earnings of $0.50 per share, beating consensus forecasts of $0.47. Adjusted EBITDA reached $136 million with a 27.7% margin, whilst operating margin improved to 31%, up from 17.5% in the prior-year quarter. Organic revenue grew 10%. The company repurchased $50 million in shares during the quarter and paid $37 million in dividends. However, free cash flow turned negative at -$42.7 million, down from $101.6 million in the same quarter last year. CEO Todd Adams noted the company raised its full-year outlook and continues leveraging operational improvements to drive growth.

Zurn Elkay Q1 sales grow 11% to $433M as adjusted EBITDA margins expand 160bp to 26.8%

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions reported first quarter 2026 net sales of $433 million, up 11% year-over-year on a core sales basis. Net income from continuing operations reached $59 million, or $0.35 per diluted share, compared with $41 million ($0.24 per share) in the prior-year quarter. Adjusted EBITDA rose to $116 million, representing 26.8% of net sales, up from $98 million (25.2% of sales) a year earlier. The Milwaukee-based water management company expanded its credit facility from $200 million to $550 million and deployed $50 million to repurchase one million shares during the quarter. Net debt leverage stood at 0.5x as of 31st March 2026. For the second quarter, the company expects core sales growth of 8% to 9% and adjusted EBITDA margins between 27.0% and 27.5%.
