That’s Nice, But What’s the Job?

As a Database Engineering Intern, you will utilize Microsoft SQL Server and Azure cloud services to construct level data solutions, ensure data integrity, and proper data transformations to move data from sources to target data structures. We are looking for skilled Database Engineering interns for our 2024 summer internship program that have a target graduation date of December 2024 or May 2025.
Our Database Engineering Interns will be responsible for:
- Design and implement effective database solutions.
- Identify root cause and impact of support issues and outages.
- Challenge the existing way of doing things by recommending solutions to improve new and existing systems.
- Collaborate and find simplified approaches to business complexities.
So what are we looking for?
- A mind for the details. Okay we know “detail-oriented” is on about every job description – but we really mean it!
- Fantastic problem solver. Your job is not only to find the problem, but more importantly, find the solution.
- Organization and time management skills in spades. You’ll be handling multiple projects and deadlines that will require you to prioritize then re-prioritize… then… re-prioritize again.
- Agile in a fast-past environment. We move, and we move quickly. Thriving in an environment that never stops, is a must.
- Intellectual curiosity. Why? What? How? Do you find yourself always wanting to learn more and broaden your knowledge base? If so, this could be the role for you.
The Specifics.
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s with a graduation date of 12/2024 – 5/2025
- Degree in Information Technology
- Experience in software, web, or application development
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/ TypeScript
- Our internship program will be 11 weeks starting May 2024 to August 2024
- Internships will be based out of our Home Office in Tempe, AZ and Dallas, TX
- You can expect a regular on-site schedule Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
