Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in the water and wastewater field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • PE License in California or the ability to obtain one within six months.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to work effectively with teams locally and across remote offices is essential.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Project Manager for municipal water and wastewater projects.
  • Engage in client development activities, contribute to positioning strategies, and assist with proposal and presentation efforts.
  • Collaborate with the Area Leader(s) and client Account Leader(s) to develop project scopes, create fee estimates, and manage risk.
  • Lead the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater treatment plants, stormwater systems, distribution/collection systems, and pump/lift stations.
  • Oversee the creation of construction documents, specifications, and provide design support during construction.
  • Manage a variety of projects for multiple clients, overseeing budgets and delivery schedules while ensuring that project teams meet deliverables.
  • Work directly with clients to identify their needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplined engineering teams and ensure that design tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Mentor junior engineers and design/drafting staff, ensuring adherence to Arcadis' quality and safety standards.
  • Some travel may be required for project site visits, client meetings, and construction oversight, depending on project needs.
