Requirements
- 2 to 3 years experience developing or administering Solr/Lucene/ElasticSearch or any other Search engines
- Experience with clustered Search engine implementation/configurations
- 4+ years Java development
- Strong Linux skills
- Experience in implementing customized Solr/Lucene solutions
- Experience working on high traffic and high availability websites and applications
- Strong overall software engineering background
- Excel at producing "just enough" solutions to complex problems
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven track record of working in cross-functional teams and communicating with other teams and business members
Responsibilities
- Develop or administer Solr/Lucene/ElasticSearch or other search engines
- Implement and configure clustered search engine deployments
- Work on high traffic and high availability websites and applications involving search solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with other teams and business members
- Produce practical, efficient engineering solutions for search-related challenges
