Requirements
  • Attention to detail
  • Project scheduling with weekly updates, MS Projects experience a plus
  • OSHA Trained/Certified – 30 Hour (preferred)
  • Safety enforcement and conducting weekly onsite toolbox meetings
  • Procore experience to complete daily reports, monitor conversations, and take daily pictures
  • Coordinate inspections
  • Generate and complete punch lists
  • Subcontractor change order verification and validate labor/material projections
  • Clear and assertive communication in the field including direct conversations with Owners and Architects and other consultants
  • Problem solver with proactive mentality and ability to understand and develop solutions
  • Maintain ethical business practices in daily actions
  • Experience dealing with representatives of city building and development departments
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and coordinate between architectural, structural, and MEP designs to ensure cohesion
  • Contact and schedule subcontractors; motivate subcontractors/suppliers to meet plans and specifications
  • Knowledge of horizontal and vertical construction including Cut and Fill sites, Utilities, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing applications
  • Dependable transportation
  • Available and willing to work after hours; some projects may require extra time commitments
  • Organize and conduct weekly onsite subcontractor meetings on safety, schedule, and quality control; respond timely to emails and be punctual and accountable for meetings
Responsibilities
  • Maintain project scheduling and provide weekly updates
  • Enforce safety and conduct weekly onsite toolbox meetings
  • Utilize Procore to complete daily reports, monitor communications, and take daily photographs
  • Coordinate inspections and organize weekly onsite subcontractor meetings to discuss safety practices, schedule, and quality control
  • Generate and complete punch lists; verify subcontractor change orders and validate labor/material projections
  • Communicate clearly and assertively in the field with Owners, Architects, and other consultants
  • Interpret blueprints and coordinate between architectural, structural, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing designs to ensure they flow together and match
  • Schedule and contact subcontractors; motivate subcontractors and suppliers to meet plans and specifications
  • Oversee horizontal and vertical construction including Cut and Fill sites, Utilities, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing applications
  • Maintain dependable transportation; be available after hours when needed
  • Be available, punctual, and accountable for meetings and staff requests
  • Respond to emails and collaborate with office staff in a timely manner
Desired Qualifications
  • MS Projects experience
  • OSHA 30-hour certification (preferred) but not strictly required
  • Commercial Construction Lead Superintendent experience in non-residential sectors preferred
