Requirements
  • Must submit a portfolio to be considered
  • 6+ years of experience working in-house, embedded on a cross-functional product team
  • BA/BS or Masters of experience and a background in the study of user experience, design, research or related fields
  • Knowledge of design methods, innovation, ideation, storytelling, prototyping, design frameworks, concept visualization, problem-framing skills and design principles
  • Comfort giving and receiving feedback, explaining reasoning behind your work
  • Experience designing and validating end-to-end visuals and workflows
  • Ability to lead usability studies and facilitate workshops
  • A working understanding of how marketing tools, messaging, and product interaction combine to shape and influence the overall user experience
  • Comfort with producing multiple design interactions to run as experiments
  • Experience building mobile responsive web or native mobile applications
  • Skills in communicating and influencing product design strategy
  • Experience working with ambiguity and complexity
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, largely autonomous environment
  • Familiarity and experience with standard design and prototyping tools, such as Figma, Miro, Sketch, and Invision
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Designers, Engineers, Product Managers, and Stakeholders to define problems and work together to solve them
  • Build a design community with a team of fellow designers
  • Translate complex user and business needs into simple, viable solutions
  • Ensures the user experience vision and short term solution are clearly communicated across the team
  • Communicates clearly and builds empathy by telling a consistent and cohesive customer story. Seeks to explain the customer problem. Asks questions and articulates a point of view informed by customer research
  • Work within and contribute to our design system
