Monday, June 15th, 2026 Moore Colson, an award-winning accounting and advisory firm in Atlanta, recently announced the addition of Justin Atchison, CPA, as a Director in the firm's Tax Practice Area. Atchison brings more than 12 years of experience serving complex clients across family office tax, estate and gift planning, and closely held enterprise structures. At Moore Colson, he will focus on tax planning, compliance and advisory services for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, multi-generational families, family offices, closely held businesses and sports and entertainment clients. He will plan and organize client engagements, develop tax strategies and advise clients on wealth preservation, transfer planning and charitable giving. Before joining Moore Colson, Atchison was a tax senior manager at a top 10 accounting firm, where he led the Nashville family office tax practice and co-led the national sports and entertainment tax practice. He advised athletes and entertainers on name, image and likeness (NIL) income planning, catalog sales, touring and performance taxation, residency strategy, and multi-state tax complexity. He also served as a firmwide technical authority on maritime and collectibles taxation. Atchison earned a Master of Business Administration from Murray State University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Kentucky. He also holds a Certificate in Family Office Dynamics from Cornell University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) where he serves on the Tennessee Board of Directors and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA).
