Requirements
  • The candidate must have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience and a track record of taking full ownership of projects.
  • The candidate must have hands-on technical depth in domains where correctness matters, including experience shipping systems where edge cases, accuracy, and domain depth were non-negotiable.
  • The candidate must be able to bridge engineering and a non-engineering domain by working closely with domain experts, taking their judgment seriously, and building shared language and artifacts.
  • The candidate must have AI-native fluency, including a clear point of view on where AI tooling helps and where it creates noise.
  • The candidate must be comfortable across the stack, including backend, frontend, and infrastructure, and able to reason about the problem's actual requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Build the services, infrastructure, and confidence metrics that support accounting practice management growth without sacrificing accuracy or trust.
  • Work closely with accounting and firm-operations domain experts to understand how accounting firms operate and translate that knowledge into systems.
  • Build and extend APIs for Aiwyn, firms, and partners, integrating firm systems, data sources, and downstream tools.
  • Take projects from specification through shipping and scaling, owning the work end to end.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in project management and/or fintech software is preferred but not a hard requirement.
  • Experience building or contributing to billing, ledger, workflow, role-based access control, authentication, or comparable systems is a bonus.

Aiwyn joins Anthropic's Claude ecosystem with verified tax calculation engine

Aiwyn has joined Anthropic's Claude Connector ecosystem, integrating its AI-native tax calculation engine into Claude's platform. The partnership enables users to run 1040 calculations, perform scenario analysis and evaluate tax outcomes in real time directly within Claude. Founded in 2020, Aiwyn has processed over one million real-world 1040 returns and developed TaxCalcBench, a framework for validating calculation accuracy. The company's platform combines billing automation, client collaboration tools and tax calculation capabilities, enhanced by its December 2025 acquisition of Column Tax. The connector is now live at claude.com/connectors/aiwyn-tax. Aiwyn serves over 900 accounting firms and is backed by investors including KKR and Bessemer Venture Partners. The company plans to expand its tax engine coverage and deepen ecosystem integrations.
