Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or a Master's degree.
- Six to eight years of professional experience.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating UI design skills.
- Experience creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
- Proficiency with visual design and wire-framing tools.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
- Strong visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- Ability to present designs and explain solutions to various stakeholders.
- Knowledge of current UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Understanding of n-tier and service-oriented architecture (SOA) architectures and UI frameworks.
- Experience developing high-fidelity wireframes using rapid prototyping tools such as HTML, CSS, Axure, and iRise.
- Experience building low-fidelity wireframes using Adobe Creative Suite, OmniGraffle, Visio, and PowerPoint.
- Experience implementing responsive design across devices such as smartphones and desktops.
- Ability to work proactively, collaboratively, and effectively under pressure.
Desired Qualifications
- Java web application development experience focused on the front end using JSP, JSF, or other UI-based technologies.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, Flex, Silverlight, Flash, AJAX, and JavaScript.
