  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years of related experience in maritime patrol aircraft, required; an additional 6 years of related technical experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
  • Experience as a P-8A Tactical Coordinator (TACCO) and Mission Commander is required
  • Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS), Maritime Patrol Reconnaissance Weapons School or Weapons Tactics Unit experience is required
  • A minimum of 1500 hours in Maritime Patrol aircraft is required
  • Proficient with Adobe Systems, Cisco WebEx, and Microsoft Office 365 Suite to include: Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance. Selected candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and identify potential training requirements that are not being addressed by the P-8A program and offer recommendations and solutions to solve potential gaps.
  • Research technical and procedural information related to MPRA-related missions, testing, and training.
  • Coordinate Navy direct support for courseware and scenario reviews and training device integration, acceptance, and operator instruction.
  • Instruct MPRA classroom lectures, training device, and simulator sessions for P-8A aircrew.
  • Assist MPRWS with Fleet Introduction Training of new capabilities or updates.
  • Research and analyze intelligence sources for courseware development and fleet integration.
  • Participate in developing enabling objectives (teaching points), learning objectives, performance objectives, and module/lesson strategies.
  • Develop SCORM-compliant Interactive Multi-Media Instruction (IMI) and Computer Based Training (CBT) to include Interactive Courseware (ICW) level 1 and level 2, PowerPoint presentations, and training events/scenarios, for all levels of MPRA students
  • Develop P-8A training materials to include Scenario Design Documents, Lesson Design Strategies, Master Curriculum Schedules, storyboards, scenario briefs, scenario timelines, Instructor Guides, and Student Guides.
  • Coordinate and organize technical and procedural information for implementation into MPRA courseware.
  • Review and ensure quality, technical correctness, and instructional design of draft and final training products.
  • Provide classroom, aircraft, and simulator training as needed.
  • Interact with system developers and engineering teams to develop performance and acceptance test procedures for P-8A training devices.
  • Conduct informal functional and system-level testing of P-8A training devices.
  • Support P-8A test events in Patuxent River, MD, Orlando, FL, Jacksonville, FL, Whidbey Island, WA, and other military installation sites. Travel will be required.
