Requirements
  • Broad financial analysis and accounting experience within a SaaS organization (or supporting SaaS organizations within public accounting), with at least 1-2 years of focus on revenue accounting and revenue-related FP&A
  • Experience with Quickbooks, Stripe, and HubSpot or a similar CRM highly preferred
  • Thorough understanding of US GAAP and its application to SAAS revenue recognition
  • A firm grasp of ASC 606 accounting standards and how they impact the entire organization
  • Demonstrated success in reducing collection cycles and AR aging
  • Impeccable attention to detail and organization skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to convey financial information to non-financial audiences
  • Ability to self-drive projects and goals to completion independently and be resourceful
  • An interest in the Cloud FinOps and/or infrastructure optimization space
  • Positive, can-do attitude, with an ability to creatively and collaboratively solve complex problems
  • Ability to quickly grasp and apply analytical concepts to real-world business challenges
  • Demonstrable clarity of thought (not optional)
Responsibilities
  • Work across departments to manage all facets of the customer invoicing process, including reviewing opportunities in HubSpot, creating customer invoices, and submitting those invoices to customers
  • Manage customer collections efforts, including payment collection and application, AR aging analysis, and follow up with customers regarding delinquent balances
  • Maintain all customer data within our billing system (currently Stripe), accounting software (Quickbooks), and revenue model, including customer agreements, contact information, and payment terms
  • Review non-standard revenue agreements and assess impact on collections cycle, revenue accounting, and the broader business
  • Research and provide any updates on new revenue standard and their application on the Company's business
  • Calculate and maintain commissions across Sales and Business Development teams
  • Reviewed and scrub customer and revenue data regularly to ensure its integrity
  • Analyze current billing processes and collections results, identify trends, and recommend actions for continual improvement
  • Assist in the monthly financial statement close process in various capacities
  • Fulfill all customer-related requests, including supplier set up forms, RFPs, and requests for banking information
  • Provide support and analyses for various GTM efforts and other finance needs
  • Assist with sales tax and other regulatory compliance initiatives
