Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Computer skills in various applications including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
  • 2+ years relevant data processing experience
  • 1+ year previous processing experience in Underwriting Support
  • Ability to interpret and understand basic insurance coverage
  • Underwriting knowledge a plus
Responsibilities
  • Provide support to manager for overseeing processing functions and personnel
  • Review, fact-check and process policy change endorsements of applying and removing credits as necessary including: Pending Agency Documents, Alarms Certificates, Fortified Home Credits and Schedule Personal Property Appraisals
  • Confirm that all policies for which a credit has been applied have received correct documents and meet underwriting requirements
  • Process underwriting requests for coverage increases or decreases applying correct information to policy based upon criteria of request
  • Process cancellations notices including verifying that correct number of mail days have been applied and proof of mailing requirements have been met
