Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with architects, hardware engineers, and firmware engineers to understand new features to be verified.
  • Develop test plan documentation that accounts for interactions with other features, the hardware, the firmware, and software driver use cases.
  • Code intellectual property or subsystem-level Universal Verification Methodology-based testbenches and verification components, including monitors, scoreboards, and checkers.
  • Build directed and random verification tests.
  • Run regressions and debug test failures to ensure high design functional, performance, and implementation quality.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in IP-level application-specific integrated circuit verification.
  • Experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog, and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience developing Universal Verification Methodology-based verification frameworks and testbenches.
  • Experience with scripting and automation of verification processes and flows.
  • Exposure to simulation profiling, efficiency improvement, acceleration, and high-level synthesis tools or processes.
  • Knowledge of computer architecture and systems.
  • Comfort with Python or Perl and editing and maintaining scripts.
  • Exposure to leadership or mentorship.
  • Experience working in a team environment through the application-specific integrated circuit project lifecycle from planning to tape-out.
  • Experience with PCI Express, Compute Express Link, Non-Volatile Memory Express, or Ethernet protocols.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a cross-site team environment.

Cerebras unveils CS-4 AI system with OpenAI and AMD partnerships for faster inference

Cerebras Systems has launched its CS-4 AI system, promising up to twice the token-generation speed of its predecessor, six times higher system-level performance, and up to 10 times more tokens per watt in certain applications.
