Requirements
  • Proven experience in a managerial position in the regulated derivatives industry.
  • Experience in developing sound business strategies and implementation of the business plan.
  • Familiarity with diverse business functions such as operations, technology, risk, marketing, sales, finance, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of the regulated derivatives markets including futures, forex, swaps and options and the cross-border offering of such products from the US.
  • Knowledge or desire to gain in depth knowledge of the cryptocurrency and digital asset markets.
  • Strong reputation and connections with potential customers of the FCM, including financial institutions, swap dealers, proprietary trading firms, hedge funds, and cryptocurrency miners and market participants.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee all business and operational activities of the FCM to provide customers with access to cleared derivatives products.
  • Work closely with the operations, technology, risk, legal and compliance team in order to lead the completion of the licensing process and the launch of the FCM.
  • Oversee the FCMs operational compliance with CFTC and NFA regulatory requirements.
  • Develop high quality business strategies and plans to align with the short-term and long-term objectives of the business enterprise.
  • Supervise the sales and marketing functions of the FCM.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and be the point of contact for key partners, vendors and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with industry regulatory bodies and ensure all requirements, including daily and monthly reporting are completed.
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of the competitive landscape, products and market factors that impact the firm.
