Requirements
  • Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field.
  • Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through < 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
Responsibilities
  • Collects data, conducts complex statistical analysis, writes statistical software programs, and organizes the presentation of results.
  • Creates charts, tables, and descriptive text for presentations.
  • Maintains databases, reviews background materials, and performs preliminary research.
  • Contributes to the design and implementation of an efficient and reproducible data processing pipeline.
  • Builds and rigorously evaluates statistical models using best practices of machine learning and statistical inference.
  • Prepares project memos, summaries, presentations, reports, and other work products for dissemination to academic researchers, policymakers, and other stakeholders, as needed.
  • Maintains technical and administrative support for a research project.
  • Analyzes and maintains data and/or specimens. Conducts literature reviews. Assists with preparation of reports, manuscripts and other documents.
  • Performs other related work as needed.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a field relevant to the research being conducted by start date.
  • Proficiency in latest computational tools.
  • Strong initiative and a resourceful approach to problem-solving and learning.
  • Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with superb analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; present data in a simple and straightforward way for non-technical audiences.
