  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience leading and supporting teams.
  • 3+ years of experience with Windows OS architectures including Cloud services.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Responsibilities
  • Create new team focusing on administration services for Invenergy’s Technology Solutions Group as a whole.
  • Develop an Enterprise-level technology platform for monitoring our various environments to help ensure expected service availability and performance levels. This includes compute, networking, storage and application layers.
  • Platform monitoring analysis with proactive approach and continuous improvement to solution architectures and availability.
  • Establish and maintain technology platform backups and recovery services. Regular system recovery exercises expected to confirm process and data integrity.
  • Participate with platform and data design architectures. Create and maintain technology roadmaps.
  • Partner with both business and technical teams and understand how to communicate through various levels of technical and business management.
  • Coordinate platform updates, rollouts, patching and planning with other technology stakeholders.
  • Plan and support platform security best practices including reliability and operational compliance.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and serve as primary technical contact and platform owner for Enterprise monitoring, backup and recovery platforms.
  • Participate in the IT Change Management process and regularly scheduled maintenance windows, including after-hours change windows.
  • Collaborate with IT counterparts and other department members as needed for operational support and project-related tasks.
  • Adhere to the company’s values, behaviors, and acceptable use policy while providing competent, proactive support to the company’s IT services.
  • Review SOWs, BOMs and equipment orders for IT Infrastructure projects to help ensure for completeness and accuracy.
  • Build and coach teams to be better technology and security practitioners with integrity.
  • Participate in the IT Off-Hours support rotation following the company’s incident response and escalation policy for Invenergy's 24x7 global operations.
