Requirements
  • Preferred Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse licensure; at minimum, Medical Assistant or Surgical Technician certification.
  • Two or more years of clinical experience are required.
  • Must maintain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
  • Training aptitude.
  • Experience or ability to perform audits utilizing established standards and systems, with the ability to communicate results and deficiencies in a manner that will impact outcomes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn a variety of computer operating systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters appropriately.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence; and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to use a telephone and computer, communicate with internal and external customers and vendors, use hands or fingers to handle or feel, talk or hear, maintain close vision, sit for several hours, stand and walk for periods, and occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Practice Manager in overseeing delivery of the patient experience and efficient daily clinical operations.
  • Support day-to-day clinical activities in an accredited outpatient surgical facility, including quality care and clinical-operations efficiency.
  • Assist the Practice Manager in building and communicating the nurse schedule and establish clinical assignments that balance surgery output with team-member satisfaction.
  • Access, review, and align company technology platforms, including Zenoti and CPB, to support operational efficiency.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance while maintaining protected health information disclosure records.
  • Apply company policies and procedures and enforce policy adherence consistent with Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care guidelines.
  • Oversee quality assurance and quality improvement reporting.
  • Attend and participate in clinic and corporate meetings, staff education, in-services, and clinic staff meetings; own meeting-minute sign-offs and relay information to the team.
  • Keep Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care preparedness files up to date.
  • Perform chart audits, including patient photos, and follow up with and educate clinical team members as required.
  • Advise and serve as a role model for clinical staff regarding patient care, clinical tasks, policies, procedures, standard operating procedures, and accreditation.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships across center team members through communication cadence, best practices, and sound judgment.
  • Participate in interviewing and hiring clinical candidates with the Practice Manager.
  • Assist the Practice Manager with onboarding new clinicians by setting onboarding schedules, assigning preceptors, and following up with new hires.
  • Become certified as a training mentor.
  • Perform the essential functions of the role with reasonable accommodations where applicable.
Desired Qualifications
  • One to two years of clinical leadership experience.
  • Experience in cosmetic practice or previous medical office management.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
