Requirements
  • PhD with 1+ years of relevant industry experience, or Master’s degree with 5+ years of relevant industry experience in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, Statistics, Cancer Biology, Immunology or a related fields.
  • Strong proficiency in R/Python for data analysis, statistical modeling, and visualization.
  • Experience working in Linux/Unix computing environments.
  • Solid foundation in statistics and their application to biological and clinical datasets.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently execute analyses with attention to rigor, reproducibility, and detail.

Responsibilities
  • Perform end-to-end analysis of translational and clinical biomarker data, including data preparation, quality control, statistical analysis, and biological interpretation.
  • Analyze high-dimensional clinical trial datasets (e.g., bulk/single cell/spacial RNA-seq, protein biomarker platforms such as MSD or Olink, and other translational assays).
  • Apply appropriate statistical methods with careful consideration of study design, analytical assumptions, and clinical relevance.
  • Execute reproducible, well-documented analytical workflows to ensure data quality, traceability, and analytical rigor.
  • Collaborate closely with translational scientists and cross-functional partners to interpret results in biological and clinical context.
  • Coordinate with data providers and vendors as needed to support timely data transfer, documentation, and organization for ongoing clinical studies.
  • Prepare clear figures, tables, and presentation materials to communicate analytical findings and support internal study discussions, scientific publications, regulatory documents and reports.
  • Work with Clinical, Biomarker, and Laboratory Operations teams, as well as external vendors, to support data transfer, organization, and documentation for ongoing trials.
  • Use version control and collaborative development practices to maintain analysis code and documentation.
  • Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency in coding, analysis, visualization, and documentation while applying sound scientific judgment.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior industry bioinformatics experience, particularly in translational or clinical-stage research in cancer immunotherapy and related fields.
  • Experience working with NGS and biomarker assay data in an industry or clinical research setting.
  • Familiarity with using AI-assisted computational and analytical tools to support efficient coding, data analysis, visualization, and scientific communication.
  • Interest in and ability to engage deeply with the biological interpretation of analytical results.

Fourth-quarter revenue reached $12.4 million, marking an 11% growth over the third quarter. The company reported accelerating sales of LOQTORZI, its PD-1 therapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma, with 2025 sales doubling from 2024's $19 million. Management expects quarterly sales to reach $15 million to $16 million in 2026, covering the commercial team's costs, and projects a long-term run rate of roughly $175 million annually by 2028. Coherus aims to achieve cash-flow breakeven, excluding clinical trial costs, when quarterly sales exceed $30 million.
