Repairify is strengthening its support for independent workshops through an enhanced collaboration with Launch Tech UK and Ireland. Building on a global partnership between the two organisations, the collaboration in the UK aims to reflect a shared commitment to helping workshops keep pace with the changing demands of the aftermarket. Repairify will provide remote diagnostic services to Launch Tech UK and Ireland's customer base to give workshops direct access to dealer-level diagnostic equipment, OEM tooling and technical expertise. Phil Peace, managing director at Repairify, said: "This collaboration is about making it easier for workshops to access the expertise they need, exactly when they need it. "Vehicle technology continues to evolve at pace, and no workshop should have to turn work away because they don't have access to a particular OEM tool or specialist knowledge. "By building on its existing global relationship with Launch Tech Co., Oakwood Taxis is bringing together industry-leading diagnostic equipment with comprehensive remote and mobile support. "It gives workshops greater confidence to take on increasingly complex repairs while helping them improve efficiency and deliver an even better service to their customers." Jon Woolley, sales and marketing director at Launch Tech UK and Ireland, said: "Oakwood Taxis has a clear focus on what UK workshops need right now.
News in brief: Nissan EV canned? Satty Nanuwa promotion; Used buyers search value. News 59 seconds ago Nissan shelves electric Qashqai. A REPORT from news agency Reuters says Nissan is quietly canning its electric Qashqai originally planned for production at its Sunderland plant. The Qashqai is a significant car for the Japanese OEM, delivering 45% of the company's European sales in 2025, as well as on the used market where the model was the best selling used car in February. While it looks likely the Qashqai will continue with alternative powertrains, development of the electric version is on hold. The Qashqai EV was due to join the new Nissan Leaf - whose end Q1 on sale date continues to slide - along with an electric version of the Juke. Nissan is in conversation with Chery about utilising one of its Sunderland lines to manufacture in the UK. Satty Nanuwa appointed Head of Sales at Repairify. SATTY Nanuwa has been appointed Head of Sales at automotive diagnostics, ADAS solutions, and remote services company Repairify. The company says Nanuwa's promotion strengthens its expansion plans for its remote and mobile service offering. She joined the business in March 2025 as National Sales and Partnerships Manager. Repairify said it would build on its established diagnostic and ADAS technology portfolio, expanding its remote diagnostics and mobile calibration services, enabling customers to access expert diagnostic and calibration support wherever it is needed. Used car buyers less brand loyal. ACCORDING to a survey by Startline, used car buyers are becoming less brand loyal with a greater focus on value rather than brand. The dealer survey found almost three quarters (74%) believed car buyers were less brand loyal, while 52% believed price and value were becoming more important. What's more, 32% believed cars from new entrants appeared a better buy as consumers started to find established OEMs too expensive. Paul Burgess, CEO at Startline Motor Finance, said: "There has been a huge amount of disruption in the new car market during the last couple of years with the arrival of new entrants, mostly from China, achieving a substantial market share very quickly. "Broker News wanted to take a look at whether this openness to new brands was also true in the used sector and dealers agree that there has been an erosion in the importance of buying a used car from an established brand. "It appears that if consumers perceive that factors such as price and value are present, they are more than happy to buy from brands that have very short track records in the UK. This indicates the future prospects for new entrants are considerable."
Repairify promotes Satty Nanuwa to head of sales UK. Nanuwa joined the business in March 2025 as national sales and partnerships manager. Repairify has promoted Satty Nanuwa (pictured) to head of sales UK as the automotive diagnostics and ADAS specialist looks to accelerate growth across its remote diagnostics and mobile calibration services. Nanuwa joined the business in March 2025 as national sales and partnerships manager and has been responsible for developing customer relationships and supporting the growth of Repairify's service offering. In her new role, she will lead the company's UK sales function while continuing to oversee strategic partnerships. The appointment comes as Repairify expands its remote diagnostics and mobile calibration services alongside its established diagnostics and ADAS technology portfolio. The company said the enhanced offering is designed to provide repair networks, bodyshops and workshops with access to specialist diagnostic and calibration support wherever it is required. Nanuwa brings more than 20 years of automotive industry experience to the position. She began her career on the graduate programme at Enterprise Rent-A-Car before holding leadership roles at Silverstone Circuit and Belron, the parent company of Autoglass. As head of sales UK, she will focus on strengthening customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and increasing adoption of Repairify's remote diagnostics, mobile services and wider product portfolio. The company said the promotion also highlights the growing presence of women in senior leadership positions within the automotive aftermarket, where they remain underrepresented in many commercial and technical roles. Nanuwa said: "I am delighted to take on the role of Head of Sales at such an exciting time for the business. "Repairify has built an outstanding reputation for delivering innovative diagnostic and ADAS solutions, but what increasingly differentiates Motortradenews is the strength of the services and partnerships that sit behind the technology. "My focus is on helping its customers achieve greater efficiency and operational performance through closer collaboration, while supporting the continued growth of its remote and mobile service capabilities across the UK. "I am also proud to be part of a business that values diverse leadership and is committed to creating opportunities for people to progress within the automotive industry." Phil Peace, managing director international at Repairify, added: "Satty's promotion reflects both her contribution to the business since joining Motortradenews and the important role she will play in its future growth. "She has built strong relationships across its customer base and has consistently demonstrated a deep understanding of the challenges facing modern workshops. "As we continue to expand our remote diagnostics and mobile services offering, her leadership, commercial expertise, and partnership-focused approach will be instrumental in helping us achieve our long-term ambitions." Repairify said the appointment reflects its continued investment in people and service development as it strengthens its position in the UK automotive repair sector.
Repairify integrates repair360 with Autosoft DMS. Automate recon RO handoff to Autosoft to cut duplicate entry, speed closeout and tighten cost accounting as recon expenses climb. Kyle Alexander is the Multimedia Journalist of AutoSuccess. Published: June 22, 2026 Repairify announced a new integration between Repair360 and Autosoft Dealer Management System at NIADA 2026, giving franchise and independent dealerships a way to manage reconditioning execution and accurately transfer completed repair order details into their DMS. Repair360 helps dealers manage the recon workflow after vehicle acquisition, including inspections, approvals, work orders, parts, labor, vendor coordination and closeout. Automatic transfer of parts, labor, opcodes, service information. With the new Autosoft integration, dealers can complete the recon process in Repair360 and automatically transfer final repair order details into Autosoft, including parts, labor, opcodes and service information. For many dealerships, recon is still managed through spreadsheets, disconnected notes, manual approvals and duplicate data entry between operating tools and the DMS. That creates administrative work, slows down closeout and makes it harder to understand the true cost of getting each vehicle frontline-ready. The Repair360 and Autosoft integration helps reduce that friction. Dealers can use Repair360 as the execution platform for reconditioning, then push completed repair order data into Autosoft once the work is finished. This helps reduce rekeying errors, improve record accuracy, speed up RO closeout and give dealers better visibility into recon costs. "Repair360 takes over where recon execution really begins," said Eric Meahan, managing director of Repair360. "Once the vehicle is acquired, dealers need to manage the work, capture the cost accurately and close the RO without re-keying everything into the DMS. The Autosoft integration removes that friction by creating the completed RO in Autosoft with the final parts, labor, opcode and cost detail from Repair360." Recon costs reported by NIADA. Recon remains one of the largest margin-protection opportunities in the dealership. NIADA reported that average recon costs reached $1,679 per vehicle in 2024, up from $1,455 the prior year and more than $500 higher than in 2020. As recon costs continue to rise, dealers need better control over how work is approved, completed, tracked and recorded. Repair360 gives dealers a connected workflow to create accurate repair orders, track vehicles through every stage of recon, improve labor efficiency, reduce cycle time and measure vendor performance. The new Autosoft integration extends that workflow into the DMS, helping dealers maintain records and more accurate accounting of the true cost to make each vehicle retail-ready. Repairify is showcasing Repair360 at Booth 412 during NIADA. Attendees can stop by the booth or visit repair360.com to learn more.
