Sparta launches Ascend to Clarity.

Sparta launches Ascend to Clarity. 18 March 2026 Time to read: 3 minutes From data to structure to intelligence: a new way to see the market. Geneva, Switzerland - March 2026 - Sparta today launched Ascend to Clarity, a major product release that strengthens how trading desks move from market data foundations to structured intelligence, all inside a single, connected workflow. Ascend to Clarity builds on Sparta's core philosophy: clarity is built layer by layer, from clean data foundations, to structured market views, to intelligence that surfaces meaningful change as it happens. In markets moving at the speed of today's geopolitical environment, that foundation is the only way to act with conviction. This release introduces major upgrades across arbitrage workflows, freight intelligence, curves, and the Data Marketplace, bringing faster awareness, tighter alignment, and clearer decision-making to physical and paper trading desks. "Ascend to Clarity is about shortening the distance between change and action," said Tom Gorenbar Peled, Chief Product Officer at Sparta. "We've focused on the moments where traders lose time: rebuilding logic, waiting for context, or noticing moves too late. This release is about surfacing what matters, exactly when it matters." What's new in Sparta. Signals: market change, surfaced in real time. Ascend to Clarity introduces Sparta Arb Signals, a new alerting layer that detects meaningful structural change and pushes it directly to traders, with context, history, and impact. Arb Signals convert complex arbitrage dynamics into real-time market signals, surfacing changes in arb states and blend margins as they occur. A unified arbitrage experience. Arbitrage workflows are now consolidated into a new unified arbs dashboard, bringing exploration, methodology transparency, and historical context into one modular view. Diesel Custom Arbs allow desks to reflect their own assumptions directly in live arbs. Expanded arb coverage strengthens diesel, jet, and naphtha visibility across regions. A rebuilt dashboard removes fragmented tables and playgrounds, replacing them with one scalable foundation for analysis and future sandboxing. Freight DPP Dashboard. When freight and cargo markets are moving in lockstep with geopolitical disruption, the cost of misalignment is immediate. This release introduces a Freight DPP Dashboard that connects crude market context and freight dynamics in a single screen. Freight traders can now see demand signals, route pressure, and vessel availability alongside the same market drivers cargo desks follow, reducing lag, misalignment, and missed opportunities. Curves upgrades: structure you can trust. Volatile markets expose the cost of structural gaps. This release deepens Sparta's curves layer to ensure the foundation holds when conditions move hardest. Rolling Front Month arbs deliver continuous, tradable views without contract expiry distortion. Time spreads bring forward structure analysis across portfolios. C&C Charts and Notifications extend customisation, collaboration, and visibility directly into charts and shared workflows. The Sparta Data Marketplace is the only deep-market data foundation connecting physical trade and financial markets. Unique proprietary and third-party data covering physical arbitrage, blending components and cash diffs, CPP and DPP routes. Already cleaned, validated, and ontology-mapped. Built to work together. Each layer of this release builds on the one below it. Clean data foundations, structured curves and workflows, intelligence and arbitrage context. The result is a platform where desks move faster. Not by watching more screens, but by seeing the right change at the right time. About Sparta. Sparta is the operating system for global oil trading desks. Sparta Commodities SA. give teams clarity, control, and speed, from transparent pricing and arbitrage insight to freight intelligence and collaboration. Built for how desks actually work, Sparta helps traders move faster, align better, and act with conviction.
