Requirements
  • BS in Accounting, Business Administration or other relevant area; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years accounting experience, including experience in a Government Contracting environment
  • Experience with incurred cost proposals, government cost type billings, disclosure statements, allowable / unallowable indirect costs, floor checks, and DCAA audits required
  • Previous experience with Deltek Costpoint and TM1 is a plus
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment also is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Accounts receivable duties
  • Cash forecasting
  • Bank and Order Reconciliations
  • Collections
  • Inter-company invoicing
  • Maintain and process commissions
  • Maintain Sales Orders (entries and billings)
  • Perform journal entries
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions
  • Distributes expenditures, encumbrances, receipts, and receivables according to schedules
  • Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures
  • Serves as back-up for other accounting duties as assigned
