SupervisorPhysician Assistant - OBGYN - Lower Manhattan Campus

Join us in practicing evidence-based medicine on a very busy and growing OBGYN team at New York-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital. With the support of the Chief Physician Assistant and hospital leadership, you will be responsible for the day to day supervision of the clinical staff, maintenace of schedule, upholding NYP and departmental expectations, and providing clinical direction and development to all clinical staff. You will be responsible for providing performance evaluations throughout the year and direct feedback on a regular basis. You will be expected to participate in departmental and hospital wide meetings and projects that are often related to quality improvement and advancement of our clinical practice. As an individual in a leadership role, the schedule for your clinical work and leadership responsibilities may vary. A successful candidate in this role will be highly motivated to work to the top of their license, develop their leadership skills, and ensure projects and initiatives are carried out to best support retention and development of our OBGYN PAs.  

Required Criteria:

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)

• Degree or major in Certified Physician Assistant

• Current NYS licensure

• NCCPA certification

• Basic Life Support Certification for all Physician Assistants who provide direct patient care

• Minimum of five years of previous experience as Physician Assistant

$157,000-$193,000/Annual
