Requirements
  • The candidate must be at least 19 years of age.
  • The candidate must have an associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • The candidate must have at least three years of food and beverage management experience.
  • The candidate must have at least one year of supervisory experience in a high-volume beverage operation, such as a casino, banquet, entertainment, or multi-venue environment.
  • The candidate must have strong knowledge of point-of-sale systems and operational functionality.
  • The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • The candidate must understand financial management, budgeting, and operational cost control.
  • The candidate must have knowledge of applicable health, hospitality, and food service regulations.
  • The candidate must be able to secure and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License.
  • The candidate must have ServSafe Certification.
  • The candidate must have TIPS Alcohol Awareness Certification.
  • The candidate must be able to stand and move for extended periods throughout assigned shifts.
  • The candidate must frequently walk between service areas, bars, and storage locations.
  • The candidate must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • The candidate must be able to communicate effectively in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
  • The candidate must be available to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods.
Responsibilities
  • The supervisor supports beverage operations and team members during assigned shifts.
  • The supervisor provides tools, training, communication, and resources necessary for beverage team members to deliver guest service.
  • The supervisor assists in scheduling beverage staff to ensure appropriate coverage for operating hours and special events.
  • The supervisor monitors par levels and daily inventory of beverage supplies.
  • The supervisor maintains beverage inventory in alignment with business demand and operational needs.
  • The supervisor participates in weekly inventory processes and assists with ordering for beverage operations.
  • The supervisor ensures proper cash handling procedures, including balancing registers at the end of each shift and reporting discrepancies to Finance.
  • The supervisor authorizes comp transactions in accordance with company policy.
  • The supervisor ensures prompt, efficient, and friendly service in all beverage operations.
  • The supervisor ensures compliance with responsible beverage service training, including S.M.A.R.T. or T.I.P.S. Alcohol Awareness.
  • The supervisor participates in the development of drink specials and promotional offerings.
  • The supervisor stays current on beverage trends and service innovations.
  • The supervisor attends meetings and training sessions and ensures team compliance with required certifications and training.
  • The supervisor enforces company, departmental, internal control, and regulatory policies and procedures.
  • The supervisor promotes positive guest relations and strong employee teamwork.
