Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales or business development in cloud infrastructure, GPU compute, AI/ML platforms, or a related technical domain.
  • A strong understanding of the GPU cloud market, AI/ML workflows, model training and inference pipelines, and the compute requirements of modern AI applications.
  • A proven track record of closing complex business-to-business deals and growing accounts in high-growth or technical markets.
  • Familiarity with Model API or large-language-model-as-a-service offerings and the ability to articulate technical differentiation to developers and business stakeholders.
  • A deep network in the AI or cloud infrastructure ecosystem and the ability to initiate and nurture executive-level relationships.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with comfort working directly with technical and business stakeholders.
  • The ability to work autonomously and execute effectively in a startup environment.
Responsibilities
  • Own the full sales lifecycle for GPU compute and Model API products, from prospecting and qualifying leads through closing deals and expanding long-term partnerships.
  • Drive GPU compute revenue by identifying organizations with large-scale training, fine-tuning, and inference workloads and positioning Yotta Labs as their infrastructure provider.
  • Grow Model API adoption by engaging AI application developers, software-as-a-service companies, and enterprises seeking reliable, scalable, and cost-effective API access to leading large language models.
  • Develop and execute outbound sales strategies targeting high-value accounts across AI startups, research labs, and enterprise customers scaling AI workloads.
  • Work with marketing to create sales collateral, case studies, and campaigns highlighting GPU compute and Model API value propositions.
  • Navigate complex technical and commercial conversations and collaborate with engineering and product teams to tailor solutions to customer requirements.
  • Meet or exceed revenue and annual recurring revenue targets while contributing to a repeatable and scalable sales motion.
  • Represent Yotta Labs at industry conferences, AI and machine-learning meetups, and customer meetings to grow the company's presence in the AI infrastructure ecosystem.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience at a GPU cloud provider, AI infrastructure startup, or cloud hyperscaler.
  • Hands-on experience selling GPU compute capacity, reserved instances, or cloud AI/ML services.
  • Experience selling API-based AI products or working with teams that build on large language model APIs, such as OpenAI or Anthropic.
  • Experience working with AI research teams, MLOps engineering groups, or AI application developers.
  • Familiarity with container orchestration, Kubernetes, AI developer tooling, and modern machine-learning infrastructure stacks.
  • A background in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Yotta Labs builds a decentralized operating system for AI workloads, called DeOS, designed to run at planet-scale. It coordinates and optimizes LLM training and inference by scheduling AI tasks across geo-distributed GPUs in a global network. The product works by orchestrating resources and communication between nodes so that AI workloads use available hardware efficiently, enabling very large-scale processing (they describe it as Yottascale). The company differentiates itself by focusing on a decentralized, globally distributed architecture for AI orchestration and high-performance inter-node communication, rather than relying on a single data center. Its goal is to unlock the maximum potential of decentralized AI and push AI workloads toward extremely large-scale processing.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • The NSF awarded Yotta Labs $296,736 in 2025 for DeAI OS research.
  • Yotta's 2025 Walrus partnership lowers storage overhead for datasets, artifacts, and media outputs.
  • Mysten Labs' Seal and Nautilus integrations extend Yotta's roadmap for permissioned AI data workflows.

What critics are saying

  • Yotta Labs listed five jobs in 2025, signaling a tiny commercialization team.
  • NSF funding ended March 31, 2026; Yotta must convert research into revenue fast.
  • AWS, NVIDIA, and centralized clouds can outspend Yotta before its GPU marketplace scales.

What makes Yotta Labs unique

  • Yotta Labs builds DeOS for AI training across geo-distributed, heterogeneous GPUs.
  • Its NSF-funded scheduler targets up to 80% lower compute costs than centralized clouds.
  • Walrus became Yotta's default storage layer for decentralized AI workflows in 2025.
