Why this Role?
The success of our wireless sensing innovations and their impact on daily life relies heavily on our Projects team. This team is a critical bridge between our internal team and external clients and partners, ensuring that their needs are being met and that projects are delivered with excellence.
This is a hybrid position and is based in our Waterloo, ON office. The compensation package for this role is a base salary plus a target bonus. The total compensation range for this position in Waterloo is $72,000 - $78,000.
As a Project Manager, you will:
Engage in client-facing activities, such as conducting demos, gathering requirements, and building relationships.
Prepare and deliver project proposals, ensuring alignment with client expectations and objectives.
Lead project meetings, including kick-off meetings, status updates, and milestone reviews.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and resource allocation.
Identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies and proactively develop mitigation plans.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
Regularly communicate project progress, updates, and risks to clients and stakeholders.
Foster strong client relationships, providing exceptional customer service and addressing client concerns in a timely manner.
Conduct post-project evaluations and identify lessons learned to improve future project outcomes.
You may be a good fit if you:
Have a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or a related field (PMP certification is a plus).
Have proven experience in project management, including client-facing roles and leading projects with multiple stakeholders.
Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and concepts.
Have strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
Are a quick thinker, capable of making sound decisions under pressure and adapting to changing project requirements.
Have demonstrated ability to lead meetings, facilitate discussions, and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.
Have excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Have a charismatic and engaging personality, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and team members.
Are proficient in project management software and tools.
Have business acumen and the ability to analyze projects from a strategic and financial perspective.
