  • You have some work experience in either data science/analytics or economic consulting
  • You have a bachelor/masters degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Math or another quantitative subject field
  • You are excited about solving business problems. You seek them out, and bring out the right tool once found, as opposed to orienting your search around the tools you know
  • You have proven experience analyzing and summarizing complex data using modern SQL dialects
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (Big Query) is highly preferred
  • You have experience with scripting languages like Python or R
  • Python is highly preferred
  • You are excited to work primarily with and learn from PhD economists, and collaborate cross-functionally with other disciplines (business, product, user research, etc.)
  • You have prior experience with data visualization and are excited to build dashboards (Tableau preferred)
  • You are comfortable working with distributed teams across multiple offices and timezones
  • You are a communicative person that values building strong relationships with colleagues and partners and have the ability to explain complex topics in simple terms
  • Own the building and reporting on Worldwide music industry Economic trends
  • Design, build, maintain and iterate on a suite of data products to enable insights and track metrics measuring the health of our creator tools
  • You will define events, build pipelines and tools together with the data science community when appropriate
  • Work closely with PhD level researchers and business leaders to scale econometric analyses for use in internal data products and business applications
  • Communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to key partners through clear visualizations and presentations

  • Professional and/or academic experience using data to influence business/policy is a plus
