- Execute Holder’s safety program for assigned trades or work areas.
- Conduct daily safety inspections and document findings.
- Lead safety planning and coordination for high-risk activities in partnership with operations.
- Support incident, near miss, and first aid investigations using root cause analysis.
- Review and support development of Job Hazard Analyses and high-risk activity plans.
- Deliver safety orientations and training to subcontractors and field personnel.
- Reinforce expectations and proactively address safety concerns in the field.
- Progress toward Board of Certified Safety Professionals certification such as Associate Safety Professional or Construction Health and Safety Technician, or equivalent.
