Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Network Industry certifications including Arista Cloud Engineer (ACE) level 3 - 5 desired
  • 5+ years’ of networking experience with in-depth hands-on experience with routing & switching configuration and deployment
  • Previous experience in network design of high performance Data Center and/or MPLS based networks
  • Demonstrated experience in technical post-sales
  • Expert knowledge in Ethernet, VLANs, VxLAN, EVPN, IP Routing, BGP, OSPF, Multicast, QoS
  • Expertise in at least one area of Data Center related technologies
  • Expert level knowledge of industry-standard CLI
  • Background in Perl, Python, Scripting for creating network automation
Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced post-sales engineering support for Arista's Open Networking Data Center, Campus, and Service Provider networking deployments
  • Review customer network designs and make recommendations for deployment
  • Assist with configuration build-outs using Python and tools such as Chef or Ansible
  • Assist with implementation and change controls
  • Assist with proof of concepts (POC) and in-depth testing
  • Provide bug scrubs and code recommendations
  • Translate complex business requirements into Network solutions
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key partners
  • Attend key partner events and training sessions
  • Provide ongoing training with customer teams globally
  • Maintain expertise through continuous training
  • Understand client’s business objectives and technical needs
  • Meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for sales and clients
  • Maintain professional relationships with teammates, partners, and clients
