Requirements
  • Eligible to work/live in the UK
  • ACA or equivalent qualification with at least 5+ years of experience working in regulated financial services entities
  • Experienced working with the FCA and other regulatory authorities
  • FCA Handbook in-depth and practical working knowledge
  • Experience working with FCA regulations and the safeguarding of customer funds
  • Extensive knowledge of the financial services industry and regulatory landscape (PSD2, E-money Directive, Payment Services Regulations and Electronic Money Regulations, etc.)
  • Excellent judgement

  • Skilled at leading through influence and collaborating with partners to drive better outcomes

Responsibilities
  • Oversight and control of services outsourced to the Parent company including corporate activities such as payroll and VAT, treasury, safeguarding, operational postings to the general ledger and reconciliation of operational accounts
  • Own and maintain the licensed entities' safeguarding policy and other policies relevant to Finance
  • Perform end of day controls to ensure that bank transfers have been processed as expected and customer funds fully safeguarded
  • Weekly calls with Group Treasury and Group Reconciliation Senior Directors
  • Monthly call with Group Reconciliations to review monthly pack
  • Prepare annual budget with FP&A
  • Prepare monthly P&L and Balance sheet for management review
  • Review month on month P&L and BS movements
  • Calculate and book transfer pricing in accordance with the transfer pricing methodology
  • Compare actuals to budget working with FP&A to rationalise any significant variances
  • Point of contact for financial audit planning and review and finalisation of Financial Statements to be submitted to the Board for sign off
  • Point of contact for safeguarding audit planning and review and finalisation of safeguarding audit findings to be submitted to the Board and FCA
  • Point of contact for corporate tax computations, review and submission to HRMC
  • Regulatory Reporting to the FCA including EMI Annual Return and Payment Fraud Return
