Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience with security assessments, penetration testing, or vulnerability research on the Android platform or Android applications.
  • At least 2 years of experience with security engineering, computer and network security, and security protocols.
  • At least 2 years of coding experience in one or more general-purpose languages.
Responsibilities
  • Build cross-functional artificial intelligence and large language model tooling to scale advanced vulnerability research, defensive engineering, and mitigation strategies across the organization.
  • Participate in the Android and Device Vulnerability Reward Program by analyzing and triaging incoming vulnerabilities, collaborating with cross-functional teams on vulnerability management and tool building, and incorporating artificial intelligence and large language models into the vulnerability-response pipeline.
  • Conduct deep-dive security research into Android vulnerabilities and threat vectors, convert vulnerability reports into prioritized platform mitigation solutions, and partner with product and feature teams to implement them.
  • Provide expert product security consultation and conduct comprehensive security design reviews for new Android features.
  • Build and deploy cross-functional artificial intelligence and large language model-driven security engineering projects to scale in-depth Android vulnerability research and automate complex mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in vulnerability-response triage rotations and engage with the external researcher community.
  • Research vulnerabilities in pre-release and in-market Android products and partner directly with feature teams to implement robust mitigation solutions.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience designing and building large language model-based agentic workflows, frameworks, or automation tools targeted at vulnerability research and remediation.
  • Direct experience participating in, triaging, or receiving rewards from high-impact Vulnerability Reward Programs.
  • Android platform security research demonstrated through public Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures, published whitepapers, or presentations at reputable security conferences such as DEF CON.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence and large language model concepts, with demonstrated interest in applying them to security domains.
  • Foundational understanding of Android operating system architecture, security model, and common attack surfaces.
