  • Demonstrated Physical Abilities remain stationary for 50% of the time; move/traverse throughout the office to access file cabinets and office equipment; operate a computer and other productivity machinery; inspect documents; communicate with others through talking/hearing; read/identify/assess forms and correspondence
  • English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
  • Project Execution – Knowledge of project management life-cycle from requirements gathering through design and implementation
  • Engineering and Technology — Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of systems and services
Responsibilities
  • Supervising a team of Controls Engineer employees including performance revies, timecards, and adherence to employment requirements
  • Executing projects from conception through client handover
  • Coordinating a team of controls engineers and detailers in cooperation with a mechanical engineering team and project management
  • Managing requirements, integration, and configuration changes throughout projects
  • Engaging team members by delegation of work both on a long term and on a day-to-day basis
  • Creatively solving problems to optimize resources, scheduling, and budget
  • Meet timelines to ensure projects stay on schedule and on budget
  • Coaching team members on project execution and proposing technical solutions for complex problems
  • Overseeing system functionality and technical quality of automated applications
  • Attend design review meetings with the customer
  • Support proposals and customer inquiries. Estimate new project work
  • Identifying and implementing improvement initiatives
