Requirements
  • Have 3 to 8 years of recruiting experience, ideally including time at an early-stage startup where you were the first or only recruiter.
  • Have closed hard-to-land candidates and be able to sell a company vision, not just a job.
  • Be able to switch between recruiting strategy and execution, including designing an interview rubric and sourcing engineers.
  • Have strong opinions on how to build a hiring bar and be willing to push back.
Responsibilities
  • Own the recruiting function from scratch by building the hiring process, interview loops, scorecards, and candidate experience.
  • Use the platform to build agents that automate recruiting workflows and increase leverage.
  • Write job descriptions and outbound copy to attract appropriate candidates.
  • Source candidates through outbound campaigns, networks, communities, and passive-candidate searches.
  • Set up and manage recruiting infrastructure, including Ashby, scheduling, pipelines, and reporting.
  • Provide the team with hiring insights on candidate conversion and process improvements.

Gamut is a for-profit consulting and talent-management firm that helps brands engage the disability market. It works by offering strategic guidance on product development, marketing, and brand representation tailored to people with disabilities, and by managing a pool of disabled talent for opportunities in film, television, modeling, and product testing focus groups. The firm also issues the GAMUT Seal of Approval™, an accessibility and inclusivity accreditation that brands can use to signal commitment and differentiate themselves. Gamut differentiates itself through authentic collaboration with the disability community—built on partnerships with organizations like Runway of Dreams and brands such as Adidas and Victoria's Secret—treating disability inclusion as a business opportunity and growth strategy, not charity. The goal is to help companies create more accessible, inclusive products and campaigns while tapping into a large, underserved consumer market.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • adidas Supernova Rise 3 Adaptive won Gamut certification and Cannes 2026 Grand Prix.
  • BetterMe's Adaptive Collection became Gamut's first international certification in May 2026.
  • Abilities Expo adopted Gamut Seal of Approval across Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago.

What critics are saying

  • Gamut depends on Scheier's personal brand; founder departure would weaken sales credibility.
  • The company has one core category, so Adidas, Victoria's Secret, or BetterMe concentration bites.
  • If brands treat disability inclusion as a campaign, Gamut becomes a services commodity by 2027.

What makes Gamut unique

  • Mindy Scheier built Gamut from Runway of Dreams, giving it disability-community credibility.
  • Its Seal of Approval certifies products, events, and marketing for accessibility and representation.
  • Gamut pairs consulting with talent management, letting brands co-create with disabled people.

DialMCP lets AI agents make phone calls using user's verified number with mandatory disclosure

Datawizz has launched DialMCP, a Model Context Protocol server enabling AI agents to make phone calls using a user's verified number. The service addresses tasks like restaurant bookings and appointments that remain phone-only. DialMCP handles conversations, navigates menus, and provides transcripts and structured results. Server-enforced safeguards include mandatory AI disclosure at call start, strict volume limits (one concurrent call, three hourly, ten daily), and calling hours restricted to 8:00–21:00 recipient time. Emergency services and premium numbers are blocked. Recipients can opt out permanently across all users. The service works with Claude, Codex, Cursor, and other MCP-compatible clients. It requires only an endpoint and SMS verification, with no API keys needed. DialMCP is free during launch for US and Canadian calls. A premium tier will follow. Datawizz, founded in 2025 by RapidAPI founder Iddo Gino, also develops the Gamut AI agent workspace.
