Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of pharmacy.
  • Hold a current New Hampshire pharmacist license.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of retail and/or clinic-based pharmacy management experience.
  • Possess strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Be able to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Vaccines are required.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Regional Manager and/or the Executive Vice President of Operations in ensuring that the pharmacy provides optimal service, meets legal and accreditation or certification requirements, and complies with company policies and standards.
  • Maintain the daily operation of the pharmacy department by supervising pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in the routine performance of their duties.
  • Provide appropriate technical and customer service training for pharmacy staff.
  • Review and update established drug-therapy guidelines and other policies and procedures, in conjunction with the Regional Manager and/or the Executive Vice President of Operations, for use by physicians, nurses, and pharmacists.
  • Provide drug information to physicians and nurses through direct contact or in-service programs.
  • Prepare various reports and maintain records, or supervise the maintenance of records, as required or requested by the Regional Manager and/or the Executive Vice President of Operations.
  • Maintain current knowledge of drug therapies and drug reactions and interactions by reading professional literature, attending seminars, and utilizing professional affiliations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Prior knowledge of local, state, and federal accrediting body and Occupational Safety and Health Administration rules and regulations.
