Requirements
  • Current unrestricted state license as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse required
  • Prefer 1+ years’ experience in a nursing field
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills
Responsibilities
  • Providing primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses
  • Assisting with required health assessments for specified programs
  • Conducting required screening tests such as drug and alcohol testing, spirometry testing or audiometric testing
  • Maintaining OSHA, state and employee health records
  • Adhering to the highest standard of confidentiality
  • Participating in plant safety and ergonomic programs
  • Assisting with health promotion, education and training programs
  • Identifying and assisting with workers' compensation cases
  • Assisting with maintenance and documentation of workers' compensation files
  • Performing other duties as assigned
