Why this role?
Product Managers have the unique opportunity and responsibility to both define product vision and drive results. On this team, you’ll get to work with one of the leading AI and NLP teams in the world and grow the product vision and company culture.
Please Note: We have offices in Toronto, Palo Alto, and London but embrace being remote-first! There are no restrictions on where you can be located for this role.
As a Director of Product, Cloud and Infrastructure, your responsibilities include:
- Own the product strategy and execution for Cohere’s private cloud products, scalability and infrastructure investments
- Work closely with Cohere commercial and engineering teams, select customers, and cloud partners to make sure that the customer experience to stand up and run the Cohere platform is seamless
- Work with co-founders, CPO, Engineering, and Design by championing collaboration, communication, and process improvements
- Stay up to date on the competitive landscape and developments in public cloud infrastructure related to AI/ML
- Define vision, strategy, roadmap, and success metrics for Cohere’s cloud, private cloud, and infrastructure investments
- Leverage insights from customer engagement to identify the right user problems and solve them based on business impact
- Hands-on leadership for a team of PMs that you will build
- Promote a culture of learning and provide mentorship to team members
- Be an influential member of the Product team who markets and celebrates successes and documents learnings, internally and externally
You may be a good fit, if you have:
- 5+ years of senior leadership experience
- A proven track record of effectively leading and executing a scaled Cloud or Infra product
- Direct experience with AWS, Azure or GCP
- A scrappy, startup mentality to move fast, iterate quickly, learn on the go, and take initiative
- Previous experience in all parts of the product lifecycle - from problem definition to post-launch
- Experience building, growing, and empowering teams
- Great communication and interpersonal skills working across different teams, personalities, and working styles
