Role: Sr Data Scientist

Location: Alameda CA

Experience Required: 6+ years in Data Science with a focus on NLP and Generative AI, particularly with large language models (LLM).

Key Responsibilities:

·Develop and implement advanced NLP algorithms and models using state-of-the-art techniques, with a strong emphasis on large language models (LLM).

·Fine-tune and optimize LLMs for specific tasks and domains, ensuring high performance and accuracy.

·Design and implement strategies for LLM deployment in both open source and proprietary environments.

·Utilize methods such as LOra, QLora, Ptuning, etc., to enhance LLM capabilities and adapt them to business requirements.

·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design effective prompts for LLMs to achieve desired outputs.

·Lead inferencing processes to extract meaningful insights from LLM outputs and improve model performance.

·Stay updated with the latest advancements in NLP and Generative AI, particularly focusing on Transformer-based models and their applications.

Required Skills:

·Proficiency in Python and relevant libraries/frameworks for NLP (e.g., NLTK, spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers,Pytorch, TGI , PEFT).

·In-depth understanding of Transformer architecture and its application in developing LLMs.

·Experience in fine-tuning and optimizing large language models (LLMs) for various tasks.

·Strong knowledge of deploying LLMs in both open source and close source environments.

·Familiarity with methods like LOra, QLora, Ptuning, and their practical application in enhancing LLM performance.

·Proven track record in designing effective prompts to guide LLM outputs towards specific objectives.

·Experience in Cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) and it’s generative AI and LLM inference and deployment resources
