  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of paralegal or legal operations experience at a law firm or in house (management experience required)
  • Strong understanding of legal documentation and corporate governance principles
  • Flexible team leader who enjoys working in a highly collaborative environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Responsibilities
  • Implement systems to generate efficiencies for the legal function
  • Execute paralegal tasks that support the wider team
  • Manage a team of three
  • Handle daily legal and compliance tasks as needed
  • Interact with stakeholders and colleagues across different groups at Jane Street
  • Improve workflows and connect Legal & Compliance to the broader firm
  • Stay organized and keep team members motivated
  • Articulate team’s needs to others across the firm
  • Brainstorm ways to use AI to improve legal processes
  • Think about how to share information and maintain systems
