ABOUT THE ROLE
At Peloton, the Senior Technical Program Manager for Software Security and Privacy is a crucial role in ensuring that the company’s products and services prioritize security and privacy throughout the development process. The Senior Technical Program Manager will be responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive software security and privacy program, collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting risk and vulnerability assessments, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies. This role is essential in establishing and maintaining a culture of security and privacy, which is critical for protecting Peloton’s assets, reputation, and customers.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong interest in privacy and security and be able to provide thought leadership, technical expertise, and excellent execution skills to lead major initiatives in this area. The Senior Technical Program Manager will work closely with Peloton’s application security teams, GRC, software engineering management, product management, and design operations to execute against the company’s security and privacy roadmap.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
- Be the facilitator that helps the team accomplish key tasks, including applying agile best practices, running meetings and collecting requirements, and coordinating larger planning activities across our teams
- Help organize projects by creating project plans, identifying constraints, providing mitigation plans, and reporting status to key stakeholders
- Coordinate across team lines to manage, track and deliver outcomes for our teams while managing trade-offs
- Provide visibility by holding the responsibility for regular reporting to key stakeholders on project and program status
- Engage in service capacity planning, demand forecasting, software performance analysis and system tuning with our engineers
- Track and drive improvements in quality and reliability by analyzing incidents and failure as part of a continual improvement process across our engineering organization
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- 5+ years of experience
- Creative technical problem-solving with proven agile planning
- Experience managing major incidents and post-incident reviews
- Experience with capacity planning
- Experience working with large distributed systems in critical production service environments
- Experience in event/incident/problem/change management
- Experience with collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Familiarity with tools and best practices around developer tools, core infrastructure, or data
- Platform-thinking and a customer-centric mindset

Base Salary: $172,100 to $223,800.00
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
